Who is eligible to take the Road Test Preparation course at Elite Driving School in Selden?
Anyone who has a Photo Learner Permit and a 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Certificate(MV-278)or Drivers Ed certificate (MV-285) is eligible to take our Road Test Preparation course.
What will I learn from the Road Test Preparation course?
You’ll learn various driving skills from basic maneuvers such as turning and signaling to parallel parking, three point turns, observation of your surroundings and more advanced skills like speed management, anticipating potential driving errors, and reacting appropriately.
How can I schedule a road test?
You can schedule your road test through our website’s ‘Book an Appointment’ section. We will make your appointment with the DMV and provide assistance and guidance throughout this process as part of our Road Test Preparation course.
What happens if I fail my road test?
If you fail your test, we can schedule another one for you and provide a training vehicle along with an instructor to retake your test again for an additional FEE. However, you’ll need to wait at least one day before retaking the test. Your learner permit remains valid until its expiration date.
What do I need for my road test?
You need to bring your photo learner permit, the original Pre-licensing Course Certificate (MV-278) or Driver Education Certificate (MV-285), glasses, or contacts (if required). If you’re under 18, a Certification of Supervised Driving (MV-262) is also required.
